"Pulp Fiction" writer tweets from jail?

Roger Avery started writing these tweets on September 26th, which is around the time he was sentenced to jail. His first post was "FADE IN," which is the beginning of a screenplay. Other posts have been about his jail life. "Night falls, and the only real activity is an endless recounting of the terrible and pointless events that brought us all to this sad place," was his November 2 post. No one can confirm that it has been Robert Avery writing these tweets but the account is linked to his personal website.

Ongoing war between Microsoft and Google

Microsoft is willing to pay large publishers to de-list themselves from google. They want "bing" to be the only server that would be able to look up things like "The Wall Street Journal" and "Myspace." Most people think it is to force google to pay for things they can look up. This does not concern Google very much though.

File sharing laws in the UK pay harsh penalties

File sharing is bringing very harsh penalties to anyone suspected of illegally downloading copyrighted materials. The new digital economy bill will fine people who are caught illegally downloading music and movies. The fine is about 50 thousand pounds, which is about 80 thousand dollars. There is also a three strikes rule which is if the user is still downloading illegal files after receiving 2 warnings, they could have their household internet suspended.

Free games for ZUNE, iPod is still better.

The new zune, version 4.3 has been released it has a touch screen and has many new games. The update doesn't include a twitter application, or a facebook application which is what everyone wants very much. The zune developers are hoping to have those apps in the near future. In my opinion iPods are better, and they do have twitter and facebook apps on the iTouch, so they win :]

Many people are following President Obama on twitter, what most did not know is that it is not him. At a conference he admitted that he has never used twitter. Kind of weird for the people that are following him right?

Russia Bans Videogame

Russia decided to ban one of the most popular videogames right now, call of duty:modern warfare 2. The game has a level where you are shooting a bunch of people in a RUSSIAN airport, which is what made them want to ban it. The game makers are going to take that level out and hopefully Russia will re-release it, but it is possible that it will always be banned in Russia.
